As we turn away from Winter's negativity

and the inferior attitudes it might have inspired,

towards Positive Abundant Living,

remember you are not alone . . .

NEVER ALONE !

Forced to spend a Dreadful Night

amidst Wild Animals in the Forest,

ALL ALONE,

American Indian Boys were trained for Courage !

When Day Dawned, each boy discovered

his Father had been hiding nearby,

ALL NIGHT,

to assure no harm would befall him !

So is GOD with us;

Manifesting Himself when Most Needed,

Seeing and Hearing

EVERY SINGLE THING

we Think, Say and Do !

" Then shalt thou call,

and the Lord shall answer;

thou shalt cry,

and He shall say,

HERE I AM. "

Isaiah 58:9

ALWAYS REMEMBER

You are not alone . . .

NEVER ALONE.

GOD is not a Man that He should Lie !

THIS MORNING, I HAD A DREAM...

The weight of the day melted me into the mattress.

I began to lift above myself, through the ceiling of the

darkened room, past the roof,

and was instantly immersed into

an awesome  unrealistically brilliant purple, pink and blue

Living golden glowing sky.

My body had become a giant  shadowed mountain

that was no longer my own.

I didn't at all mind.

It was safe and I was FREE !

Floating over a colorful Landscape of rolling  Mountains

and a  snaking River,

I turned in the air for it seemed

I was being watched.

Instantly, I recognized the  White Headed Eagle and realized

I was ONE too.

Joyfully we climbed higher and higher,

effortlessly ascending together through and over the Cliffs.

We were Content. We were pure LOVE.

This is my morning sketch in remembrance of that dream.

I want to always remember it.

" Bless the Lord, O my Soul, and forget not all His benefits . . .

Who satisfys your mouth with good things;

So that your Youth is renewed like the Eagles . . ."

GOD

is our Refuge and Strength,

a Very Present Help in trouble.

Therefore we will NOT fear,

though the earth be removed,

and though the mountains be carried

into the midst of the sea;

It must be possible for us humans,

no matter our age or where our lot is cast,

to keep a spirit that is light hearted and worry free.

We mustn't become escapists,

or become indifferent to the struggles and sufferings of mankind,

nor develop careless unconcern with society's problems.

We should govern our minds . . .

govern the Dunce Lion who is a WORRIER . . .

NOT the WARRIOR he claims to be.

WORRY is a spasmodic and irrational thought,

much like a snowstorm . . .

WORRY can get us confused and cause us to LOSE OUR WAY

Deliberately entertaining an idea of FAITH breaks the negative cycle.

Take WORRY apart, piece by piece,
{ in this case, shovelful by shovelful }

with COOL, COLLECTIVE RATIONAL THOUGHT . . .

and, remarkably, 94 Percent of WORRY

NEVER HAPPENS !

" Better NEVER trouble trouble

Until trouble troubles you,

For you're sure to make your trouble

DOUBLE TROUBLE when you do.

And your trouble, like a bubble,

and wish EVERYONE the usual

HAPPY ~ HEALTHY ~ PROSPEROUS

NEW YEAR !

. . . and that's all wonderful . . .

EXCEPT

absolutely NONE of those things can exist

without

the deepest human need of ALL !

So, I've decided to wish the world

to be permeated

through and through

with

PEACE

2. USE " I " AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE.

3. MIRROR YOURSELF CONTINUALLY BY

THE OPINION OF OTHER PEOPLE.

4. LISTEN, GREEDILY, TO WHAT PEOPLE

SAY ABOUT YOU AND

IF IT'S NOT WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR,

GET ANGRY !

5. EXPECT TO BE APPRECIATED BY EVERYONE.

6. BE SUSPICIOUS.

7. BE JEALOUS AND ENVIOUS.

8. BE SENSITIVE AND EASILY OFFENDED.

9. NEVER FORGIVE A CRITICISM.

10. TRUST NOBODY BUT YOURSELF.

11. INSIST UPON CONSIDERATION & RESPECT

AT ALL TIMES.

12. DEMAND AGREEMENT WITH YOUR OWN VIEWS

ON EVERYTHING.

13. SULK & FEEL SORRY FOR YOURSELF IF PEOPLE

ARE NOT GRATEFUL FOR ALL YOU DO FOR THEM.

14. NEVER FORGET WHAT YOU'VE DONE

FOR OTHER PEOPLE.

THINK ABOUT IT AT ALL TIMES

BUT . . .

15. ALWAYS REMEMBER WHAT THEY HAVE

FAILED TO DO FOR YOU.

16. SHIRK YOUR DUTY.

17. SEEK , AT ALL TIMES, TO ENTERTAIN YOURSELF.

18. DO AS LITTLE AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN

FOR OTHER PEOPLE.

Only GOD Can Make a Tree !

This apple tree with last year's bird nest on the mountaintop today

brought to mind the first poem we had to memorize in school.

GOD made a beautiful world for us to appreciate

while we're on this tough old planet Earth.

I think that I shall never see

A poem lovely as a tree.

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest

Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;

A tree that looks at GOD all day,

And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in summer wear

A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;

Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,

But only GOD can make a tree.
